Provinces, SANA -Army and Armed Forces units continued on Thursday \u00a0their operations against terrorist organizations\u00a0in different areas, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying their vehicles.<\/p>\n
Daraa<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Army units launched intensive operations on the gatherings and fortifications of\u00a0the terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in Daraa al-Balad area in the southern province of Daraa, a military source said.<\/p>\n The source added that the operations resulted in the killing of a number of terrorists,\u00a0including the Saudi terrorist Mohammad al-Faraj, one of al-Nusra leaders, and the destruction of anti-tank base\u00a0and two\u00a0machine guns.<\/p>\n Idleb<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n An army unit fired\u00a0rocket\u00a0shells on\u00a0sites and fortifications of Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in Kafr Sajna village in Maaret al-Nouman area in the southern countryside of Idleb, according to SANA reporter.<\/p>\n The reporter added that 14 terrorists were killed and 2 cars equipped with heavy machine guns were destroyed as a result of the army operations.<\/p>\n Quneitra<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n An army unit, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, targeting a\u00a0terrorist group of 8 members trying to infiltrate\u00a0at\u00a0Tal Sahi site in Khan Arnaba town in the northern countryside of Quneitra, SANA reporter said.<\/p>\n All the terrorists\u00a0were killed or injured.<\/p>\n Deir Ezzor<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Army units, backed by the Air Force, destroyed on Thursday positions and fortifications for ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor city and its western countryside.<\/p>\n SANA reporter in Deir Ezzor said the army units killed in a special operation all members of an ISIS terrorist group, including a leader who is named Abu al-Zubeir al-Tunisi and his assistant Abu Mehjn, on the southern outskirts of the city.<\/p>\n Identical local and media sources said Abu al-Zubeir had given an order before he was killed to liquidate the remaining groups which attacked the graveyards area after the attack failed and the rest of the terrorists fled.<\/p>\n SANA reporter noted that the artillery of the Syrian Arab army targeted fortifications and a barricade for ISIS terrorists in al-Bugheiliyeh village and the surroundings of al-Halabiyeh roundabout in al Salihiyeh area, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Provinces, SANA -Army and Armed Forces units continued on Thursday \u00a0their operations against terrorist organizations\u00a0in different areas, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying their vehicles.
