Damascus, SANA- Syria and Armenia have expressed\u00a0willingness to move forward the relations of\u00a0cooperation between the two friendly countries in\u00a0various domains to uplift to the level of the\u00a0standing historic political relations.<\/p>\n
That came in the two letters exchanged between\u00a0Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates\u00a0Minister Walid al-Moallem and Armenian Minister of\u00a0Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian on the 25th\u00a0anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic
\nrelations between the Syrian Arab Republic and\u00a0Armenia.<\/p>\n
al-Moallem stressed that establishing diplomatic\u00a0relations between the two countries embodied the\u00a0historic ties connecting the two peoples, hailing\u00a0Armenia’s supporting stances to Syria in the face\u00a0of terrorism.<\/p>\n
For his part, Nalbandian reiterated the\u00a0appreciation of the Armenian people for the
\nhumanitarian support provided by the Syrian people\u00a0to the Armenian Genocide survivors, stressing the\u00a0need to enhance peace and security in Syria and\u00a0condemn the international terrorism.<\/p>\n
