Aleppo, SANA – The activities of the ninth Woman\u00a0and Family festival, organized by the\u00a0Businesswomen Committee of Aleppo Chamber of Commerce, kicked\u00a0off on Thursday at Shahba Hotel in Aleppo city.<\/p>\n

More than 300 businesswomen are taking part in the\u00a0festival.<\/p>\n

The four-day festival included an exhibition of\u00a0traditional industries, clothing and cotton items,\u00a0embroideries, perfumes, cosmetics, food and\u00a0sweets, in addition to exhibits which reflect the\u00a0Aleppo’s deep-rooted civilization and the skills of its\u00a0businesswomen.<\/p>\n

The Chairman of the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce,\u00a0Majd Eddin Dabbagh, stressed the Chamber’s\u00a0keenness to support the festival, affirming the important role\u00a0of women as real partners in the economic process\u00a0and the activation of the economic and commercial\u00a0motion side by side with men.<\/p>\n

The Businesswomen Committee of Aleppo Chamber of\u00a0Commerce was established in 2001 to support women\u00a0and develop their capabilities and talents through\u00a0holding training courses and workshops.<\/p>\n
