An army unit thwarted Sunday terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate into a military post in the Medakha and al-Sundus areas in Khan al-Shih in Damascus Countryside<\/span>.<\/p>\n The army unit also destroyed a terrorists’ gathering and\u00a0 a number of cars equipped with heavy machineguns with all the terrorists inside them, mostly non-Syrians.<\/p>\n Another army unit thwarted terrorists’ attempt to attack a military post to the east of al-Salam highway in the area and destroyed a number of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns, killing all terrorists inside them.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, an army unit has discovered a tunnel during mopping-up operations in al-Mleiha town neighborhoods in Eastern Ghouta, Damascus countryside.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that the tunnel has three branches ranging in length between 50-60 meters and connects several building blocks. The tunnel is, according to the source, well-ventilated that terrorists were using for movements and mounting terrorist attacks.<\/p>\n This is not the first tunnel to be discovered in Mleiha to which security and stability were restored after the army announced ending combat operations there on Thursday. A couple of weeks ago, a one-kilometer long, 8 meter-deep tunnel was discovered near Aseel company in Mleiha farms.<\/p>\n Army units killed a number of terrorists, injured others and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in Deir Ezzor<\/span>.<\/p>\n Army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the neighborhoods of al-Howaiqa, al-Jbeileh, al-Arafi, and near al-Siyaseh Bridge, and \u00a0Howaijeh Kate’a in the city.<\/p>\n Units of the armed forces killed and injured a number of terrorists in several villages and towns in Homs<\/span> countryside, foiling their attempt to infiltrate towards Ahrash Kafarnan.<\/p>\n Army units also foiled an infiltration attempt by terrorists towards Burj Qa’ai in Ahrash Kafarnan in Homs countryside, eliminating a number of them.<\/p>\n Gatherings of terrorists were targeted in the surrounding of schools gathering in Um Sharshouh and \u00a0in the surrounding of Tal Abu al-Sanabel, and in the villages of Um Sahrij, Um al-Rish, Salam Sharqi, Aqrab and al-Hula where many terrorists were killed and wounded and several of theirs vehicles were destroyed.<\/p>\n Army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Idleb<\/span> countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon them.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that the army units destroyed a terrorists’ den in Abu Duhour town inthe countryside, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.<\/p>\n Army units also killed and injured many terrorists who were attempting to sneak towards Abu DuhourAirport and destroyed their equipment.<\/p>\n The source pointed out that other army units eliminated scores of terrorists in Maar Belet, al-Baraghithi and the area surrounding al-Shababiyeh barrack and destroyed their weapons and ammuniti<\/p>\n Army units killed and injured many terrorists after targeting their dens in the surrounding of al-Arba’ain mountain, Um Jres, Qari’a al-Ghazal in Idleb<\/span> countryside.<\/p>\n Units of the armed forces also destroyed three of the terrorists’ cars, killing all terrorists inside them between Sa’sa’ and the farms of al-Hinnawi and al-Najjar and Beit Saber in Quneitra<\/span> Countryside.<\/p>\n The army units targeted terrorists\u2019 dens and gatherings in a number of areas in Daraa<\/span> and its countryside, foiling terrorists\u2019 attempt to infiltrate into the safe areas.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that army units foiled attempt by terrorists to sneak from Khirbet Sarghaya to safe areas in Zamreen in Daraa countryside and from Kharab al-Shahem to al-Yarmouk suburb in Daraa al-Balad, killing and injuring scores of terrorists.<\/p>\n The source added that other army units stormed terrorists\u2019 dens and gatherings in the area surrounding al-Alaqiyeh hill, Salmin-Zahra road, Kharab al-Shahem- al-Yadouda road, Jadal, Inkhel, al-Lajat, Busr al-Hareir and al-N\u2019eimeh in the countryside and in the area surrounding al-Abbas Mosque and Om al-Daraj, Katakit company, al-Masri roundabout and Jordan Street in Daraa al-Balad.<\/p>\n Army units targeted Sunday terrorists’ gatherings surrounding Semlin-Zemrin crossroads, on al-Yadoudeh-Kharab al-Shahem road, Jadal and Inkhel in Daraa countryside, and to the south of al-Abasiyyen Bakary in Daraa al-Balad, killing a number of terrorists and wounding others.<\/p>\n Another army unit thwarted terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate from Kharab al-Shahem towards the safe areas in al-Yarmouk district in Daraa al-Balad, killing and injuring a number of them.<\/p>\n Terrorist groups attack village in Sweida, killing civilians<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Sweida, SANA – Terrorist groups attacked locals in the village of Deir Dama in Sweida<\/span> countryside, killing a number of civilians and injuring others.<\/p>\n Army personnel, civil defense forces, and locals confronted the terrorists, killing a number of them and injuring others.
