Homs, SANA – The fourth batch of gunmen and some of\u00a0their family members which refused\u00a0to join the\u00a0reconciliation agreement have\u00a0left \u00a0al-Waer neighborhood on\u00a0Saturday in a step towards\u00a0evacuating the area from arms and gunmen and\u00a0paving the way for the return of governmental\u00a0institutions to it.<\/p>\n
SANA’s reporter said that\u00a0480 gunmen\u00a0and some of their family members left al-Waer\u00a0neighborhood in the framework of implementing the\u00a0reconciliation agreement that was reached in the\u00a0neighborhood, indicating that the process of\u00a0evacuating gunmen will currently continue till\u00a0finishing the fourth batch completely.<\/p>\n
Homs Governor Talal Brazi told SANA that the\u00a0process of evacuating the fourth batch of gunmen\u00a0from al-Waer neighborhood is being implemented\u00a0without any obstacles as gunmen and some\u00a0of their family members who rejected the\u00a0reconciliation agreement exit\u00a0the\u00a0neighborhood heading for the northeastern
\ncountryside of Aleppo.<\/p>\n
Brazi expected that other batches of gunmen will\u00a0leave the neighborhood weekly till the end of the\u00a0current month.<\/p>\n
The Governor stressed that the process of\u00a0restoring stability and security to some areas is\u00a0continuing through the local reconciliations and\u00a0that hundreds will benefit from the amnesty decree\u00a0for settling their status and returning to their\u00a0normal life.<\/p>\n
He indicated that the process of evacuating gunmen\u00a0and some of their family members to the\u00a0northeastern countryside is going on under the\u00a0supervision of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent\u00a0(SARC), the Syrian internal security forces, and\u00a0the Russian military police.<\/p>\n
Last Saturday, 836 gunmen and some of their\u00a0families left al-Waer neighborhood heading for\u00a0Idleb countryside in implementation of the\u00a0reconciliation agreement and the legal status of\u00a0hundreds of gunmen was settled according to the\u00a0amnesty decree no. 15 for the year 2016.<\/p>\n
