Daraa<\/span><\/p>\n An army unit carried out intensive\u00a0bombardments against Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in\u00a0Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa southern province,\u00a0inflicting heavy losses upon them in the personnel\u00a0and equipment.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that an army unit\u00a0killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and\u00a0destroyed a number of their positions that are\u00a0fortified with machineguns and sniper rifles on al-Sad Road, to the south of Khazan al-Karak and to\u00a0the east of al-Masri Roundabout and the Bakery\u00a0alley in Daraa al-Balad.<\/p>\n Homs\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A military source said that army units established control over Abu Qillah dam to the north west of the Fourth Station in Palmyra Countryside after killing scores of ISIS terrorists there.<\/p>\n The source added that the army units foiled an attack by terrorist groups from several axes on a number of military points in al- Qaryatain area, 85 km south east of Homs city.<\/p>\n Earlier, the army units engaged in clashes with ISIS-affiliated terrorist groups \u00a0after they inflitrated from the direction of Futhat al-Mahsa,\u00a0Thanyiat al-Mzaibleh and al-Qaryatain Dam into the area surrounding the military posts in the area.<\/p>\n A number of terrorists were killed in the clashes and others were injured and their arms and ammunition were destroyed.<\/p>\n Damascus Countryside<\/span><\/p>\n Four of Jabhat al-Nusra\u00a0terrorists were killed in an operation carried out\u00a0by the army against one of their positions in the\u00a0far southwestern countryside of Damascus.<\/p>\n An army unit\u00a0destroyed a machinegun-equipped vehicle belonging\u00a0to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, killing four\u00a0terrorists onboard in precise bombardments against\u00a0their positions in the direction of Sasa-Beit Jin.<\/p>\n Deir Ezzor<\/span><\/p>\n Army units carried out concentrated operations targeting ISIS gatherings and movements in the surroundings of Deir Ezzor city.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that any army unit shelled gatherings and fortified positions for ISIS terrorists in al-Tharda Mountain west of Deir Ezzor city, destroying 2 tanks and a vehicle equipped with a machinegun, in addition to killing and injuring a number of terrorists.<\/p>\n The source added that army operations near the junction of al-Taim oil field southeast of the city led to destroying fortified positions used by terrorists to direct drones rigged with explosives toward military positions.<\/p>\n Hama<\/span><\/p>\n An army unit destroyed a bulldozer rigged with large amounts of explosives in al-Azib valley area in the eastern countryside of Hama province.<\/p>\n SANA’s correspondent in Hama said that an army unit carried out an operation targeting the movements of ISIS terrorists in al-Azib valley area northeast of Salamiya city, which resulted in destroying a bulldozer rigged with explosive and vehicle for ISIS before they could reach their target.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Provinces, SANA- Army and Armed Forces units continued targeting terrorists from ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra, and other terror groups affiliated to them in several areas across the country.
