Daraa, Deir Ezzor, SANA-Army units carried out operations against fortifications and movements of Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist groups affiliated to it in Daraa al-Balad area in the southern province of Daraa<\/span>, according to military source.<\/p>\n

The source added that a number of terrorists were killed due to the operations in addition to the destruction of 2 machinegun nests and a number of their vehicles.<\/p>\n

Hama<\/span><\/p>\n

A military source said that army units, in cooperation with supporting forces, restored security and stability to Tibet al-Imam town and the surrounding areas in Hama countryside, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and equipment on Jabhat al-Nusra terror organization and groups affiliated to it.<\/p>\n

The source said that hundreds of terrorists were killed including two Saudis; Sultan al-Dahim and Abu Hajar Mohammad Abdullah al-Ghannam, in addition to “Abu Ribi’a al-Tunisi” from Tunisia, “Abu Jelbib al-Turki” from Turkey, and “Abu Ribal al-Muhajer” from Indonesia, and that many more were injured.<\/p>\n

The source went on to say that the army destroyed 2 ammo depots, 6 tanks, a BMP vehicle, and more than 70 other vehicles, some of them equipped with machineguns, in addition to arresting a number of terrorists and seizing 1 tank, 11 120mm artillery pieces, 4 rocket launch platforms, 3 “Gehenna” makeshift cannons, 2 82mm mortar launchers, 2 60mm mortar launchers, 3 DShK machineguns, and large amounts of ammo.<\/p>\n

Deir Ezzor<\/span><\/p>\n

The army units clashed with ISIS terrorist groups on the southern outskirts of Deir Ezzor city, thwarting their attack on a military post in the surrounding of the graveyards area.<\/p>\n

The military source said that the army units thwarted the attack using various types of light and medium machineguns, killing 5 ISIS terrorists, injuring others and destroying their arms and ammunition.<\/p>\n

Homs<\/span><\/p>\n

An army unit destroyed a meeting location for leaders of Jabhat al-Nusra in Deir Fuul village in the northern countryside of Homs province, killing 4 terrorists and injuring 17, a military source told SANA, adding that one of the dead terrorists was a Jordanian nicknamed “Abu Thu’l-Nourain.”<\/p>\n

The source went on to say that an army unit killed and injured a number of terrorists affiliated to al-Nusra and destroyed their weapons and ammo after targeting their gatherings in al-Za’afarana and al-Farhaniya al-Gharbiya in the province’s northern countryside.<\/p>\n

The army also targeted al-Nusra hideouts and gatherings in the areas of Hosh Abu Klab and al-Mashari’a in the northern countryside, killing a number of terrorists.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile in the eastern countryside, army units eliminated large numbers of terrorists from ISIS near the abandoned battalion, east of al-Qaryatain, southeast of Palmyra, Habra al-Gharbiya, and Unq al-Hawa.<\/p>\n

Lattakia<\/span><\/p>\n

A military source said that army units eliminated more than 10 terrorists and downed an RC drone in Nawara, Ein al-Hoor, and al-Zwaiqat in the northern and northeastern countryside of Lattakia province.<\/p>\n
