Damascus, SANA – Damascus Governor Bishr al-Sabban said on Monday that the settlement agreement in Barzeh neighborhood for clearing it of all armed manifestations has been completed in a step towards the return of state institutions to it.<\/p>\n
The governor said in statement to journalists that the implementation of the last stage of the settlement agreement in Barzeh neighborhood has been completed on Monday , which involved the evacuation of 1,012 persons, including 455 militants, who refused the settlement agreement.<\/p>\n
The implementation of the agreement was accomplished in 20 days during which all the militants and some of their families that refused the agreement left towards the northern countryside.<\/p>\n
On May 15th, Syrian Arab Army units, in cooperation with the supporting forces, restored security and stability to Qaboun area and the surrounding farms located next to Barzeh area after a series of special operation that inflicted heavy losses upon Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and the affiliated groups.<\/p>\n
