Moscow, SANA- A new round of Astana meeting on\u00a0Syria is likely to be held in early July in the\u00a0Kazakh capital of Astana, Russian President’s\u00a0Special Representative for the Middle East and\u00a0Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov\u00a0said Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Bogdanov told Sputnik news agency that talks are\u00a0underway with Iran and Turkey to hold new session\u00a0of Astana meeting on Syria after the holy month of\u00a0Ramadan, noting that a new round of talks will be\u00a0held in Geneva immediately following the Astana\u00a0meeting.<\/p>\n
The Kazakh capital hosted four meetings on Syria\u00a0where they all stressed commitment to Syria’s\u00a0sovereignty, independence and territorial\u00a0integrity, in addition to enhancing cessation of\u00a0hostilities in the country. In the last Astana\u00a0meeting, held by the beginning of last May, the\u00a0Russian memorandum on de-escalation zones in Syria
