Damascus, SANA- Prime Minister Imad Khamis took\u00a0part Friday in a charitable Iftar banquet held by\u00a0Ahl al-Sham Initiative for the sons of martyrs,\u00a0orphans and children with special needs.<\/p>\n
Khamis said this event, which comes during the\u00a0holy month of Ramadan, reflects the old origin of\u00a0the Syrian people over hundreds of years,\u00a0asserting that the Syrian people’s steadfastness\u00a0during the global war on Syria has been a message\u00a0of partnership among all spectrums of the Syrian\u00a0people in defending their country in all fields.<\/p>\n
Prime Minister reiterated that the government,\u00a0represented by the Ministry of Social Affairs and\u00a0Work, supports and organizes the work of\u00a0charitable associations believing in the role of\u00a0these associations in delivering all social\u00a0services, relief and other charitable works to\u00a0people in need.<\/p>\n
For her part, Social Affairs’ Minister Rima al-Qadiri said that this event comes within the role\u00a0of the Government in taking care with all\u00a0spectrums of the society, as some associations\u00a0care about the orphans, sons of the martyrs and\u00a0disabled children.<\/p>\n
Al-Qadiri asserted that the Ministry spares no\u00a0effort to support the needed, particularly in the\u00a0fields of education, health and psychological and\u00a0social care.<\/p>\n
