Astana, SANA- Russia, Iran and Turkey, as well as\u00a0UN Special Envoy Staffan de Mistura and Jordan,\u00a0have confirmed their participation in the fifth\u00a0round of Astana meeting on Syria scheduled to be\u00a0held next July 4-5, Kazakh Foreign Minister Kairat
\nAbdrakhmanov said Monday.<\/p>\n
” We have received participation confirmation from\u00a0all the guarantor countries at the level of the\u00a0special representative of the Russian president\u00a0and deputy foreign ministers of Turkey and Iran,”
\nAbdrakhmanov said.<\/p>\n
According to the Kazakh top diplomat, UN Special\u00a0Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura and the\u00a0Jordanian delegation have also confirmed their\u00a0participation.<\/p>\n
” We expect the United States to send their high-ranking representative to take part in the next\u00a0Astana meeting as an observer,” the Kazakh Foreign\u00a0Minister added.<\/p>\n
“We also expect the guarantor countries to finally\u00a0confirm the participation of the Syrian government\u00a0delegation, as well as the delegation of the armed\u00a0opposition,” Abdrakhmanov said.<\/p>\n
On June 22, Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad\u00a0said that Syria is ready for the coming rounds of\u00a0the Astana and Geneva tracks next month, based on\u00a0preserving its sovereignty and unity and sparing
\nthe blood of its sons.<\/p>\n
The Kazakh capital of Astana hosted four meetings\u00a0on the crisis in Syria where the Russian\u00a0memorandum on de-escalation zones in Syria was\u00a0signed in the last meeting.<\/p>\n
