Beijing, SANA – The China-Arab Exchange\u00a0Association, in cooperation with the Syrian Embassy in Beijing, held on Sunday a Syrian Day\u00a0with the participation of 1,000 representatives of Chinese companies specializing\u00a0in investment and reconstruction<\/p>\n
This initiative seeks to promote the upcoming\u00a0Damascus International Fair, as well as the the Reconstruction Expo.<\/p>\n
Syrian Ambassador in Beijing Imad Mustafa said\u00a0that Chinese companies are expected to play a big role in the reconstruction phase in Syria\u00a0after the end of the crisis, pointing out that the Syrian government will give top priority\u00a0to Chinese companies in investment and reconstruction opportunities.<\/p>\n
For his part, Deputy Chairman of China-Arab\u00a0Exchange Association Qin Yong, who had visited Syria last June, expressed optimism in Syria’s\u00a0ability to rise again, encouraging the Chinese companies to invest in it.<\/p>\n
The event included a presentation showcasing\u00a0significant investment sites in Syria and the recent decisions issued by the Syrian government\u00a0connected to facilitating investment opportunities.<\/p>\n
The 59th Damascus International Fair is scheduled\u00a0to be held on August 17-26 at the Damascus Fairgrounds, with the participation of
\nabout 30 Arab and foreign countries.<\/p>\n
