Damascus, SANA – Assistant Foreign and Expatriates\u00a0Minister Ayman Sosan on Monday met with a delegation of the Syrian expatriates’ committee\u00a0in Kuwait.<\/p>\n
Sousan briefed the delegation about developments\u00a0in Syria, saying that the changes in the stances of some regional and international powers\u00a0unmasked the campaigns of misdirection towards what is going on in the country.<\/p>\n
He added that the plots against Syria and the Arab\u00a0region aim at weakening the Arab position and enabling Israel and other forces to
\ntighten their control on the region.<\/p>\n
Sousan affirmed that the Syrian people and armed\u00a0forces are determined to clear every inch of Syrian territory from the Takfiri terrorists\u00a0and maintain its territorial integrity and the unity of its people, and maintain Syria’s\u00a0independent decision-making.<\/p>\n
He asserted that the right to decide the future of\u00a0Syria belongs to its people, rejecting any foreign interference in its internal affairs.<\/p>\n
The Assistant Minister also lauded the Syrian\u00a0expatriates’ support for their home country, saying that they will play an important role in\u00a0the reconstruction phase.<\/p>\n
For their part, members of the delegation affirmed\u00a0their unlimited support to Syria, expressing readiness to provide everything that
\ncould enhance the resilience of their homeland and contribute to the reconstruction\u00a0phase.<\/p>\n
