{"id":111603,"date":"2017-08-13T13:34:31","date_gmt":"2017-08-13T10:34:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=111603"},"modified":"2017-08-13T16:18:43","modified_gmt":"2017-08-13T13:18:43","slug":"army-establishes-full-control-over-a-number-of-strategic-hills-in-salamiyeh-countryside-inflicts-heavy-losses-upon-isis-in-deir-ezzor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=111603","title":{"rendered":"Army establishes full control over strategic hills in Salamiyeh countryside, inflicts heavy losses upon ISIS in Deir Ezzor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Hama, Deir Ezzor, SANA, Army and Armed Forces units, in\u00a0cooperation with popular defense groups,\u00a0established full control over a number of\u00a0strategic hills in the surroundings of Salba\u00a0village to the east of <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Salamiyeh <\/span>city.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">SANA&#8217;s reporter said that this was achieved after\u00a0carrying out intensive operations against ISIS\u00a0terrorists and eliminating their latest gatherings\u00a0in the area, adding that army units found a<br \/>\ntunnel network in the hills which the terrorists\u00a0were using to move and store ammunition and food\u00a0supplies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Deir Ezzor\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Syrian Army units engaged in\u00a0clashes with ISIS-affiliated terrorist groups southwestern of Deir Ezzor city, while the\u00a0Syrian Air Force carried out a series of airstrikes against their positions in the city and\u00a0the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Army units\u00a0killed a number of ISIS terrorists and injured others, destroying their arms and\u00a0ammunition in violent clashes at the axis of al -Bughailyia-al Panorama.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Syrian Air Force\u00a0destroyed dens and hotbeds of ISIS terrorists and killed scores of them in intensive\u00a0airstrikes against their positions to the west of Deir Ezzor City, al-Mawared area,\u00a0Hwaijet Qati&#8217;a, al-Tharda roundabout, the surroundings of the Airport, and in the\u00a0neighborhoods of al-Hwaiqa, the Old Airport and al-Omal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The airstrikes targeted fortifications of ISIS in\u00a0the villages of al Bughailyia, al- Junaina, al-Shoula, al-Shmaita and al-Tibni,\u00a0inflicting heavy losses upon them in the equipment and personnel.<\/p>\n<p>Local sources in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor said that a group of ISIS terrorists, including Alaa al-Anad al-Mustafa, fled from al-Mohassan town to an unknown destination.<\/p>\n<p>Terrorists of ISIS executed three young men on charge of fighting against the organization at the entrance of al-Ramadi village in the countryside of al-Bukamal city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hama, Deir Ezzor, SANA, Army and Armed Forces units, in\u00a0cooperation with popular defense groups,\u00a0established full control over a number of\u00a0strategic hills in the surroundings of Salba\u00a0village to the east of Salamiyeh city.
