Damascus, SANA \u2013 President Bashar al-Assad issued on Thursday Decree no. 253 for 2017 granting one additional examination session for undergraduates who failed in any subject in the 2016-2017 academic year.
\nThe decree also grants an additional academic year to the students of the same grade who exhausted all opportunities to take exams from inside or outside the university.
\nThe decree granted an additional examination session and academic year for the students of qualification and specialization studies who failed exams in the 2016-2017 academic year.
\nThe decree also covers Master\u2019s students who failed exams or exhausted all opportunities to take exams during the 2016-2017 year, as they will be granted one extra examination session and one extra academic year.<\/p>\n
