Provinces, SANA –\u00a0Army units, in cooperation with the Lebanese Resistance, established control over the strategic area of Qarnet Shaabet Ekko in Western Qalamoun area in Damascus Countryside<\/span>.<\/p>\n

SANA reporter said that army units, in cooperation with the Lebanese Resistance, continued their operations against ISIS gatherings in the Western Qalamoun area, establishing control over the strategic area of Qarnet Shaabet Ekko, 2364 meters above sea level, in Jurd al-Jarajir.<\/p>\n

As a result of this achievement, army units and the Resistance are currently observing the whole southern area of Western Qalamoun and have restored fire control over Jabal Halima, one of ISIS main hotbeds in the area, and on the entrances of the crossings of Shmeis Tim al-Mal, al-Qasira and Wadi al-Shahout to the west.<\/p>\n

Earlier, a military source said that the Syrian Air Force destroyed ISIS fortifications and hideouts in Juroud al-Qalamoun in Damascus countryside.<\/p>\n

The Syrian Air Force destroyed\u00a0fortifications and vehicles for ISIS terrorists in airstrikes against their gatherings
\nand positions in the eastern countryside of Hama<\/span> and the southern countryside of Raqqa\u00a0<\/span>province.<\/p>\n

A military source told SANA that the Syrian Air\u00a0Force carried out intensive airstrikes against fortifications and positions of ISIS in
\nJana al-Albawi village in the eastern countryside of Salamyia and Ma’adan city, 70 km to\u00a0the southeast of Raqqa.<\/p>\n

The source added that the sorties targeted\u00a0gatherings and fortifications of ISIS- affiliated terrorist groups in Rasm al-Sawwanieh,\u00a0to the southeast of Rasm al-Baroud and in Qasir al-Hir al-Sharqi in the eastern\u00a0countryside of Homs<\/span> province.<\/p>\n

The source said that a number of ISIS vehicles,\u00a0positions, and hideouts were destroyed in the airstrikes and scores of terrorists were\u00a0killed.<\/p>\n

An army unit clashed with ISIS\u00a0terrorist groups in the area surrounding the graveyards area in Deir Ezzor<\/span>, killing 7\u00a0terrorists and injuring many others, according to a military source.<\/p>\n

The source added that another army unit destroyed\u00a0fortifications and sites for terrorists in the neighborhoods of al-Huweiqa, al-Orfi and al-Rasafa in Deir Ezzor city.<\/p>\n

The Syrian Air Force launched intensive airstrikes\u00a0against supply routes and movements of ISIS terrorists in Maadan Atiq and al-Tabni\u00a0villages and Tallet Alloush (hill), Mafraq al -Tharda and the area surrounding the graveyards,\u00a0killing a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles and fortifications.<\/p>\n

SANA reporter said that army units engaged in\u00a0clashes with ISIS terrorists on the axes of the graveyards and al-Panorama, in parallel with\u00a0launching artillery, missile and air strikes on ISIS points and movements in the\u00a0graveyards, al-Tharda, Mafraq al-Tharda and al-Orfi neighborhood.<\/p>\n

The reporter added that more than 50 terrorists\u00a0were killed, some of them are prominent leaders withing ISIS, after locals attacked them\u00a0while they were at a meeting at the Salt Mine in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.<\/p>\n

Local sources said that ISIS terrorists detonated\u00a0the building of Buqros Club and the industrial school in Buqros town, adding that ISIS\u00a0terrorists continue to seize locals’ properties in order to hide from airstrikes in\u00a0citizens’ houses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
