A military source told SANA that army units on\u00a0Monday morning established control over Mas’oud\u00a0village in the eastern countryside of Salamiyeh to\u00a0the east of Hama City after engaging in violent
\nclashes with ISIS terrorists who positioned in thevillage after fleeing away from Oqairbat town\u00a0which was liberated by the army last week.<\/p>\n
The source added that a number of ISIS terrorists\u00a0were killed in the clashes and their vehicles were\u00a0destroyed, in addition to finding a vehicle rigged\u00a0with explosives and an armored vehicle.<\/p>\n
An amount of ISIS arms and ammunition was also\u00a0seized by the army units.<\/p>\n
After establishing control on Mas’oud village,\u00a0army units started to head for the other villages\u00a0to liberate them and eliminate ISIS terrorists in\u00a0them, according to the source.<\/p>\n
