{"id":113792,"date":"2017-09-14T11:03:05","date_gmt":"2017-09-14T08:03:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=113792"},"modified":"2017-09-14T18:37:07","modified_gmt":"2017-09-14T15:37:07","slug":"astana-6-talks-on-syria-kick-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=113792","title":{"rendered":"Syrian Arab Republic delegation to Astana 6 meeting meets Iranian delegation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Astana, SANA- The sixth round of talks on Syria\u00a0in Astana has kicked off with the participation of\u00a0the Syrian Arab Republic delegation headed by Dr.\u00a0Bashar al-Jaafari .<\/p>\n<p>The Syrian Arab Republic delegation held a meeting with the Iranian delegation headed by\u00a0Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues related to the success of the current round.<\/p>\n<p>The Syrian Arab Republic delegation, headed by al-\u00a0Jaafari, on Wednesday held two separate meetings\u00a0with Kazakh Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov\u00a0and the Russian delegation led by Lavrentiev for\u00a0talks on the agenda of the 6th Astana meeting .<\/p>\n<div><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Lavrentiev: Current Astana round is final for establishment of de-escalation zones<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The head of the Russian delegation to the Astana meetings on Syria Alexander Lavrentiev said that this meeting in Astana is final for the establishment of de-escalation zones, but the Astana process will continue, because there are still other issues that are to be addressed in the Syrian settlement.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In a press conference in Astana on Thursday, Lavrentiev said that Astana is a very useful platform for coordination of different positions on different aspects of the Syrian settlement, including the political settlement and national reconciliation.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;All these issues are gradually transforming into regular meetings.
