{"id":113905,"date":"2017-09-16T11:30:35","date_gmt":"2017-09-16T08:30:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=113905"},"modified":"2017-09-16T19:56:40","modified_gmt":"2017-09-16T16:56:40","slug":"army-establishes-control-over-new-areas-in-deir-ezzor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=113905","title":{"rendered":"Army establishes control over new areas in Deir\u00a0Ezzor and Homs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Deir Ezzor\/Homs, SANA- Syrian Arab Army units regained control over\u00a0Howeijet al-Mrai&#8217;eyeh village in the southeastern\u00a0countryside of <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Deir Ezzor<\/span> province.<\/p>\n<p>SANA&#8217;s reporter in Deir Ezzor said on Saturday that army units carried out during the past few\u00a0hours intensive military operations against ISIS hideouts and gatherings in the eastern\u00a0countryside of the province, destroying their\u00a0defensive lines in the area and leaving a number\u00a0of ISIS terrorists dead or injured.<\/p>\n<p>The reporter added that army units established\u00a0full control over Howeijet al-Mrai&#8217;eyeh village in\u00a0the southeastern countryside of the province.<\/p>\n<p>Later, a military source announced that the last of the ISIS hotbeds in al-Shindakhiye al-Shamaliya and Abu Jreiss villages in the eastern countryside of <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Homs<\/span> province have been eliminated.<\/p>\n<p>The source told SANA that Syrian Arab Army units began at dawn an operation targeting ISIS positions in the two aforementioned villages which are located around 70km east of Homs city.<\/p>\n<p>These operations achieved their goals of reestablishing control over the villages and a number of hills overlooking them after eliminating the last of the ISIS gatherings in the area and destroying their vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>The source also said that army units established positions in the villages after combing them fully and dismantled IEDs and landmines planted by ISIS in them, and then immediately launched a new military operation in the adjacent area.<\/p>\n<p>H.
