Provinces, SANA \u2013 Army units on Wednesday \u00a0stepped up large-scale operations against terrorist organizations,\u00a0inflicting severe losses upon their members\u00a0in several areas across the country.<\/p>\n
The Army directed heavy strikes on terrorists in Joubar<\/span> and the surrounding areas in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside.<\/span><\/p>\n A military source told SANA the Army made important advances on many directions, controlling more buildings and destroying a net of tunnels there.<\/p>\n The Army also killed a number of terrorists, among them mercenaries of Saudi and Sudanese nationalities, destroying their weapons, equipment and a workshop for manufacturing mortars in a series of operations against their dens in Joubar and the Eastern Ghouta.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA field reporter that scores of terrorists were killed and wounded, among them non-Syrians.<\/p>\n Turky Nawaf al-Osaimi from Saudi Arabia and Othman Shu’aeb from Sudan were identified among the dead terrorists.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the army units targeted gatherings of terrorists, leaving many of them dead and wounded, in addition to destroying a heavy machine gun which they were using in Western Villas Street in Khan al-Sheeh and the farms surrounding it and in Wa’ret Zakia in Damascus Countryside.<\/span><\/p>\n Units of the armed forces killed many terrorists, repelled others’ infiltration attempts and destroyed a number of their vehicles in the southern provinces of Daraa and Quneitra, a military source said.<\/p>\n SANA reporter quoted the source as saying that army units destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles, killing all terrorists aboard them, near al-Omari Mosque and to the south of al-Abassiyeen Bakery in Daraa al-Balad in the city of Daraa<\/span>.<\/p>\n Several other terrorists\u2019 vehicles were destroyed while moving from the Jordanian borders towards the towns of Khrab al-Shahm and Tafas in the countryside of the province.<\/p>\n Another army unit repelled terrorists who tried to infiltrate from al-Madajen area and al-Yadoudeh town into Daraa al-Balad, killing a number of them and injuring others.<\/p>\n Many terrorists were also killed and wounded in the towns of Da’el and Enkhil, and a number of the cars which they were usinf were destroyed to the south of Qerfa town in the countryside.<\/p>\n Army unit killed\u00a0and injured\u00a0members of a terrorist group northeast of the entrance of Bosra al-Sham city in\u00a0Daraa countryside.<\/p>\n The Army also killed a number of terrorists and wounded many others, destroying their vehicles which were loaded with heavy machine guns in Daraa countryside.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that the Army hit three 4-wheels cars, loaded with weapons on Jarba-Enkhil road in Daraa countryside.<\/p>\n In the countryside of Quneitra<\/span>, an army unit foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate into Sasa town where a number of them were killed and others were wounded, while one of their cars which was equipped with a heavy machine gun was destroyed to the west of Um Batina Mosque.<\/p>\n Army units targeted gatherings of terrorists in al-Hejjeh area and Sad Koudneh al-Gharbi in the countryside of Quneitra, leaving many of the terrorists dead and destroying a number of their cars. Another car which terrorists were driving towards al-Alam roundabout in the city of Quneitra was destroyed.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, A military source told SANA that the Army killed a number of terrorists and wounded many others in Rasm al-Khawaled and in al-Qunaitera city.<\/p>\n An army unit killed a number of terrorists and wounded others during a military operation\u00a0 that targeted their gatherings on Idleb-Harem road in the northern province of Idleb<\/span>, in addition to destroying a car equipped with a heavy machine gun which the terrorists were using.<\/p>\n Units of the armed forces killed a number of terrorists and injured others, some of them are non-Syrian, in the surrounding of Kafar Najd, Nahlia and Bsames towns in the countryside of Idleb.<\/p>\n An army unit destroys two hideouts which terrorists had been using to make explosive devices in Tal Salmo in Idleb countryside.<\/p>\n A series of operations were carried out by army units against terrorists in the northern province of Aleppo<\/span>, resulting in the killing of numbers of them and the injury of others, in addition to destroying their equipment.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that army units killed a number of terrorists and wounded others in the surrounding of the Citadel of Aleppo and in the areas of al-Sakhour, al-Atareb, Bustan al-Qasr, al-Lairamoun and Old Aleppo in the city and countryside of the province.
