Cairo, SANA- Egyptian Foreign Minister, Samih Shukri, reiterated the necessity of finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria to realize stability and to guarantee that the terrorist organizations will not return.<\/p>\n
In a special interview with Russia Today TV on Sunday, Shukri clarified that the de-escalation zones agreement has contributed to the resumption of the political track, underlining the importance of uniting the \u201copposition\u201d to form a harmonious group which will be able to engage in the political process according to the Security Council\u2019s resolutions and which will be keen on the future of the Syrian people.<\/p>\n
He added that Putin\u2019s visit to Egypt tomorrow, and holding a Russian-Egyptian summit come in the framework of enhancing cooperation between the two countries and discussing the challenges facing the region.<\/p>\n
Shukri indicated that the summit will be also a good opportunity to exchange viewpoints and to set a joint strategic vision on the situation in Syria and Yemen and on fighting terrorism, in addition to discussing the latest developments related to the Palestinian Cause and Al-Quds City.<\/p>\n
