{"id":120742,"date":"2017-12-10T16:20:51","date_gmt":"2017-12-10T14:20:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=120742"},"modified":"2017-12-10T17:32:01","modified_gmt":"2017-12-10T15:32:01","slug":"military-operations-against-jabhat-al-nusra-terrorists-in-damascus-countryside-continued","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=120742","title":{"rendered":"Army eradicates al-Nusra in Hama countryside, chasing its remnants towards Idleb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hama\/Quneitra, SANA-Syrian Arab Army units reclaimed new areas in the northeastern countryside of <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Hama <\/span>after inflicting heavy losses in ranks and equipment upon Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists.<\/p>\n<p>A military source told SANA that army units operating to the northeast of Hama city reestablished control over the villages of Um Trika, Um Hezim, Blil, Taliet Rajm al-Ahmar, Tal Shteib, al-Zabadi, and Tal Bolus after fierce clashes with the terrorists of al-Nusra.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the clashes, a number of terrorists were killed and dozens of them fled to neighboring villages after they pulled the bodies of their dead to cover up their losses.<\/p>\n<p>The reporter said that army\u2019s engineering units combed the liberated villages as the army reinforced its positions in them, adding that the army launched a new military operation against sites of Jabhat al-Nusra in the towns of Um Turkia and al-Zafiria near Idleb\u2019s administrative borders.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Quneitra\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Army units continued operations against gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the southwestern countryside of Damascus, inflicting heavy losses upon them.<\/p>\n<p>SANA reporter said that army units on Sunday carried out intensive operations against gatherings and fortified positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Daher al-Aswad hills to the south of Bard\u2019ayia hills after 24 hours of establishing control over Bard\u2019ayia hills by the army.<\/p>\n<p>The reporter added that violent clashes took place between army units and the terrorist groups which started to retreat after a short time of the clashes while army units continued to advance.<\/p>\n<p>Terrorists started to flee away towards Mugher al-Mir to the east of Daher al-Aswad hills, leaving behind the bodies of the killed terrorists and their weapons, according to the reporter.<\/p>\n<p>English Bulletin<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hama\/Quneitra, SANA-Syrian Arab Army units reclaimed new areas in the northeastern countryside of Hama after inflicting heavy losses in ranks and equipment upon Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists.
