Damascus, SANA- An army unit, in cooperation with the \u00a0popular defense groups thwarted Daesh (ISIS) terrorist groups\u2019 infiltration attempt towards the outskirts of al-Tadamon neighborhood to the south of Damascus city.<\/p>\n
SANA reporter said that Daesh terrorists on Wednesday infiltrated from al-Yarmouk Camp into a number of blocks of\u00a0buildings in the residential neighborhood of al-Tadamon \u00a0to attack civilians in an attempt to force them to leave their houses.<\/p>\n
The reporter added that an army unit, in cooperation with the popular defense groups and backed by the artillery force, restored all the blocks\u00a0of buildings into which terrorists had infiltrated, killing and injuring most of them, while the rest fled away towards al-Yarmouk Camp.<\/p>\n
The reporter stressed that the resilience of the neighborhood\u2019s inhabitants and their support to the army played a key role in thwarting the terrorist attack and bringing the conditions in the neighborhood to normality.<\/p>\n
