Aleppo, SANA – Safe box, which contained cash and jewelry with an estimated value of nearly SP 200 million, had been found on Thursday by Alaa al-Omar in Souq an-Niswan (Women’s Market) of the Old City of Aleppo.<\/p>\n
Alaa, who is a middle-class worker, is a driver of Aleppo Branch of the Military Construction establishment, told SANA that while he was working in Souq an-Niswan with a team to detect the damage that had been sustained against Umayyad Mosque Wall; he found a safe box under the rubble.<\/p>\n
“I only thought of the safe box’s owner who lost his property due to the damage that has been inflicted upon his shop by terrorism. I asked my supervisor to inform the police,” Alaa added.<\/p>\n
The owner of the safe box was identified by police and he received his possession.<\/p>\n
In appreciation of his honesty, Governor of Aleppo Hussein Diab honored Alaa al-Omar, indicating that Alaa is a good example of every Syrian, while Alaa, who is a father of two children, said that his behavior is normal and it is the Syrian ethics.<\/p>\n
