Moscow, SANA-The Russian Foreign Ministry has stressed the necessity of respecting the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of Syria following the new Israeli aggression on Syrian lands.<\/p>\n
“Moscow is deeply concerned with the latest developments and attacks on Syria. The danger of the escalation of tensions within and around the de-escalation zones, which have become an important factor in reducing violence in Syria, is of particular concern,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on its website.<\/p>\n
The statement added that the Syrian government forces “are complying with the agreements reached with regard to providing the consistent functioning of the de-escalation zone in the south-west of the country.”<\/p>\n
\u201c We consider it necessary to unconditionally respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria and other countries of the region.” The statement reads.<\/p>\n
The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that “it is absolutely unacceptable to threaten the lives and security of Russian soldiers existed in Syria at the invitation of the legitimate government to help combat terrorists”.<\/p>\n
