Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to drop to become around or slightly lower than average as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by a wet air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.<\/p>\n
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy and rainy in most areas; rain will be accompanied by thunder on the western areas. The department warned against the formation of ice in the mountains and fog in some inland areas.<\/p>\n
The winds will be western to southwestern of moderate speed with gusts, while the sea waves will be high in amplitude.<\/p>\n
Rain fell in most Syrian provinces during the past 24 hours as the heaviest rain amounts reached 55mm in Hama province.<\/p>\n
The rain amounts in some Syrian provinces are as follows: 39mm in Damascus, 18,5mm in Sweida, 13mm in Daraa, 42mm in Quneitra, 35mm in Homs, 8mm in Lattakia, 51mm in Tartous, 5mm in Aleppo and 17mm in Hasaka.<\/p>\n
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 13\/08, Daraa 15\/07, Homs 11\/09, Hama 13\/10, Lattakia 17\/15, Aleppo 10\/05 and Deir Ezzor 15\/10.<\/p>\n
