Damascus, SANA – The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces said that Air\u00a0Defense of the Syrian Arab Army managed with high efficiency to intercept and\u00a0destroy a large part of the Israeli missiles launched consecutively on Thursday\u00a0at dawn at a number of military posts in several directions.<\/p>\n
In a statement, the Army General Command said that “The Army’s confronting of\u00a0another Israeli aggression affirms all over again the alertness of the Army and\u00a0readiness to defend sovereignty of the homeland against any aggression.”<\/p>\n
The statement added that the remaining part of the missiles resulted in the\u00a0martyring of three people and the injuring of two, in addition to destroying a\u00a0radar station and an ammunition depot.<\/p>\n
The Army General Command also reaffirmed readiness to confront any aggression,\u00a0stressing futility of attempts to support the devastating terrorism by blows of\u00a0the Syrian Arab Army.<\/p>\n
The Command concluded the statement by saying that these blatant aggressions\u00a0will lead to more achievements in combating terrorism of all its forms all over\u00a0the Syrian territories.
