He started his career as a documentary photographer in 1999 and held several exhibitions in Aleppo, Damascus, Moscow and Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, Moscow International Photography awards (MIFA) awarded Hagoup Vanesian in the competition with Honorable Mention in two categories: Editorial \u2013 War\/Conflict for the winning entry \u201cDetermination to Survive\u201d, and the People-Children category for the winning entry \u201cImitating\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cPrix de la Photographie, Paris\u201d P\u00d73 promotes the appreciation of photography, discovers emerging talent and introduces photographers from around the world to the artistic community of Paris.
