Provinces, SANA \u2013 Units of the armed forces continued on Wednesday to launch military operations against the terrorist organizations across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.<\/p>\n
A military source told SANA reporter that army units targeted gatherings of terrorists in Bosra al-Sham, Atman, al-Hrak and al-Yadouda, while other units destroyed a bulldozer in al-Nu’eima town in the countryside of Daraa<\/span>.<\/p>\n The source confirmed that the operations resulted in the killing of a number of terrorists, while others got wounded.<\/p>\n Army units clashed with terrorists who tried to infiltrate al-Sheikh Miskeen town in Daraa countryside, killing and injuring a number of the assailants.<\/p>\n A source in the province said that among the dead terrorists were Saif Eddin Khaled al-Deiri, who was the leader of the terrorist group, in addition to Alaa Mohammad Jouma al-Shalhoub and Mohammad Khaled al-Awad.<\/p>\n Other\u00a0units targeted terrorist concentrations and hideouts in the areas of Deir al-Adas, Kafr Nasej, Tal al-Allaqiya, Tal Antar, south of al-Maasara, and on a dirt road between Atman and Tafas in Daraa countryside, eliminating a number of terrorists and injuring others.<\/p>\n An army unit prevented terrorists from infiltrating al-Minshiye neighborhood in Daraa, eliminating many terrorists and injuring others.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, an army unit killed many terrorists and injured others in Mas’hara and al-Samadaniyeh al-Gharbiyeh in the countryside of Quneitra<\/span>.<\/p>\n A military source said army units targeted a convoy of terrorists’ cars west of Mashara town heading from Mamtana and Rweiheina towns, and destroy several dens in Um Batna in Quneitra countryside.<\/p>\n Several terrorists were killed and others were wounded.<\/p>\n Army units also targeted gatherings of terrorists in Kadin, Salma, Dourin, al-Mugheiriyeh and Tirtyah areas in the northern countryside of the coastal province of Lattakia<\/span>, killing a big number of them and destroying many of their cars which were equipped with heavy machine guns.<\/p>\n Army units destroyed several boats for terrorists in al-Rastan Lake, killing all terrorists aboard, in addition to eliminating scores of terrorists in al-Waer, al-Sam’alil and Deir Salam in al-Houla and in al-Hilaliya farm in Um Sharshouh in the countryside of the central province of Homs<\/span>.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the authorities arrested a terrorist group in al-Meshtaiye village in the countryside of Talkalakh, and seized several explosive devices and drugs.<\/p>\n A source at Homs province told SANA that five terrorists who had been using a house in al-Meshtaiye village in Wadi al-Nadara area as a hideout were arrested, adding that 11 explosive devices and a large cache of medicine and drugs were found inside the house.<\/p>\n Units of the armed forces targeted \u00a0gatherings of terrorists in the surrounding of al-Shughr town in Jisr al-Shughour and in the areas of Kafar Najd, Kafar Lata, al-Araba’een mountain, Nahla, al-Beit al-Sini, al-Rami and Mantaf in the countryside of the northern province of Idleb<\/span>, according to a military source.<\/p>\n SANA reporter quoted the source as saying that many terrorists were killed and one of their cars which was equipped with a heavy machine gun and an anti-tank base were destroyed during the operations.<\/p>\n Among the terrorists who were killed in the surrounding of al-Shughir town are Yunus Mohammad al-As’ad, Khaldoun Abu Qadir and Said al-Yusuf, according to the source.<\/p>\n In Deir Ezzor<\/span>, a unit of the armed forces destroyed two dens for ISIS terrorists in Nazlet al-Rdeisat the\u00a0city, killing and injuring several of them.<\/p>\n A source at the province told SANA that other army units wounded several ISIS terrorists and destroyed their vehicles and weapons while targeting their gatherings in the streets of al-Takaya and Hweijeh Sakr in the city.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Provinces, SANA \u2013 Units of the armed forces continued on Wednesday to launch military operations against the terrorist organizations across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.
