{"id":149244,"date":"2018-10-20T13:10:07","date_gmt":"2018-10-20T10:10:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=149244"},"modified":"2018-10-21T08:24:12","modified_gmt":"2018-10-21T05:24:12","slug":"syrians-in-occupied-golan-burn-israeli-election-cards-in-challenge-of-judaization-practices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=149244","title":{"rendered":"Syrians in occupied Golan burn Israeli election cards in defiance of Judaization practices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Quneitra, SANA- Syrians in occupied Syrian Golan on Friday evening held a sit-in at Majdal Shams Square during which they burned the \u201celection cards\u201d distributed among them by the occupation authorities with regard to the so-called \u201clocal councils\u201d elections.<\/p>\n<p>Participants in the sit-in raised the Syrian flag and banners in rejection of the policies of Judaization adopted by the occupation, reiterating their rejection of participating in these elections.<\/p>\n<p>They also reiterated their belonging to their homeland Syria and their belief that the occupation will end.<\/p>\n<p>Syrians in the occupied Golan also announced their popular movement in rejection of these elections which will last till the end of the current month.<\/p>\n<p>Liberated prisoner Bishr al-Maqt affirmed in a speech delivered during the sit-in that all measures taken by the Israeli occupation authorities are null and void and they don\u2019t have a legal value.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Maqt indicated that the popular movement which started on Saturday will continue in all the villages of (Majdal Shams, Mas\u2019ada, Baq\u2019atha and Ain Qunya) over the coming days.<\/p>\n<p>He called upon the international organizations to put an end to the racist practices of Judaization adopted by the occupation authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Ruaa al-Jazaeri\/<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Quneitra, SANA- Syrians in occupied Syrian Golan on Friday evening held a sit-in at Majdal Shams Square during which they burned the \u201celection cards\u201d distributed among them by the occupation authorities with regard to the so-called \u201clocal councils\u201d elections.
