{"id":149394,"date":"2018-10-22T10:29:57","date_gmt":"2018-10-22T07:29:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=149394"},"modified":"2018-10-22T10:34:13","modified_gmt":"2018-10-22T07:34:13","slug":"notes-of-love-and-war-exhibition-showcases-scenes-from-daily-life-of-ordinary-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=149394","title":{"rendered":"\u201c Notes of Love and War&#8221; exhibition showcases scenes from daily life of people"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Damascus, SANA &#8211; 25 paintings by artist Anwar al-Rahbi depicting scenes from everyday life of ordinary people were showcased at &#8220;Notes of Love and War&#8221; exhibition opened recently at Alef Noon Gallery in Damascus.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition which lasts till the 30th of October addresses themes of absence, longing for the old days and memories of those who passed away portrayed through windows overlooking a grave.<\/p>\n<p>Artist Anwar al-Rahbi was born in Deir Ezzor in 1957. He was appointed Secretary of Syria&#8217;s Plastic Artists Union. He won several awards in Syria and around the world such as order of karl Marx in Germany.
