Damascus, SANA \u2013 Prayer for peace in Syria was held on Friday at the St. Paul’s Convent and Shrine in al-Tabbaleh area in Damascus.<\/p>\n

Father Simon Harro presided upon the ceremony, praying to God to have mercy on Syria and its people, grant them victory, restore security to them, return abductees to their children, and heal the wounded.<\/p>\n

The prayer was held based on calls by the patriarchs and archbishops of Damascus, who called for holding prayers for a month, with prayers held in a different church on each day, concluding with prayers in all churches in Damascus and its countryside on each Sunday during this month.<\/p>\n
