Provinces, SANA \u2013 Units of the armed forces on Sunday continued military operations against the terrorist organizations across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them.<\/p>\n
Army units carried out a series of operations targeting terrorist hideouts in the Eastern Ghouta and other areas in Damascus Countryside<\/span>.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA’s field correspondent that five terrorists were killed and their weapons were destroyed in an operation east of the town of Ein Tarma, and another terrorists was killed near al-Thanawiye roundabout in Harasta, while operations in various points in Jobar resulted in killing and injuring a number of terrorists.<\/p>\n An army unit resulted in the destruction of a terrorist hideout along with the weapons and ammo inside it and the death and injuring of many terrorists around Ubada Ibn al-Samed Mosque at the entrance of Erbin town, while other terrorists were eliminated during the army’s advance in Tal Kurdi farms northeast of Douma.<\/p>\n In Douma city, terrorists were destroyed and a number of terrorists were killed including Hussam Uyoun and Khaled al-Derani.<\/p>\n Army units targeted terrorist hideouts and concentrations in the farms of the towns of al-Jarba, al-Zamaniye, and al-Bilaliye, in addition to preventing terrorists from sneaking towards the town of al-Qasimiye.<\/p>\n In al-Qalamoun Mountains, army units prevented terrorists from approaching the surroundings of the towns of Assal al-Ward, al-Jebbeh, and al-Mashrafeh, eliminating a number of terrorists in the process, in addition to destroying vehicles along with the terrorists inside them at al-Zamrani crossing point near Qara.<\/p>\n An army unit destroyed a terrorist hideout along with the weapons, ammo, and terrorists inside it in Daraya, while another unit prevented terrorists from infiltrating the town of Sa’sa’ from the direction of al-Hennawi and al-Khazrajiye farms, killing many of the terrorists.<\/p>\n Other units targeted terrorist concentrations in Mugher al-Meer, Tal Marwan, Bashir Najjar farms, and Kafr Hoor in Damascus’ southwestern countryside, eliminating a number of terrorists and injuring others.<\/p>\n Army units killed many terrorists and destroyed their criminal equipment after targeting their gatherings in the countryside of Quneitra<\/span> southern province.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that army units targeted terrorists\u2019 gatherings near al-Madjaneh in Tal Mas\u2019hara, to the west of the gas station, near the roundabout of Nabe\u2019 al-Sakher, on the eastern road in al-Mantara, in Ain al-Bida village and in Um Batina town in the countryside of the province, destroying a number of their vehicles which they were using in their criminal acts.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA reporter that a den for terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra was destroyed by an army unit in Ma’ardibsa town in the countryside of the northern province of Idleb<\/span>.<\/p>\n All the terrorists who were inside the den were killed, according to the source.<\/p>\n The source also noted that another army unit targeted gatherings of terrorists in Tal Salmo and Abu al-Duhour areas, leaving the terrorists dead and wounded.<\/p>\n In southern Syria, more gatherings of terrorists were targeted by the army in separate areas in Daraa al-Balad in the city of Daraa<\/span>, a military source said.<\/p>\n SANA reporter quoted the source as saying that terrorists who attempted to infiltrate a military post in the surrounding of Um al-Mayazen in the countryside of the province were repelled, with many of them getting killed, while others were wounded.<\/p>\n Yehya Ibrahim Issa, Omran Mahmoud al-Hariri, Hussam al-Jawabra, Mohammad Ahmad Majarish and Mohammad Anwar al-Sayyed were identified among the killed terrorists.<\/p>\n The operation, the source noted, resulted also in the destruction of a heavy machine gun which the terrorists were using.<\/p>\n Units of the armed forces also repelled an attempt by terrorists to launch attacks against Qasr al-Bitar farm and al-Ghuzlan farm from the direction of the villages of al-Yadoudeh and Tafas and the western part of Atman town in the countryside, leaving many of them dead and wounded.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the army units targeted dens and gatherings of terrorists in al-<\/p>\n Ghajar village and Sheikh Ibrahim al-Hakim area,\u00a0stressing that numbers of the terrorists were\u00a0killed and injured in the operations.<\/p>\n The source added that other army units killed and\u00a0injured a number of terrorists in al-Sultaniyeh \u00a0village in the eastern countryside of Homs<\/span> and in Meanwhile, the army units targeted dens and\u00a0gatherings of terrorists in the area surrounding\u00a0al-Farouq Mosque in Kfar Laha in al-Houleh area Army units eliminated a number of ISIS terrorists and injured others while targeting their hideouts and concentrations in Huwaijet Saqr area in Deir Ezzor<\/span> city.<\/p>\n A source in the province said that Ali al-Shaher, Tawfik Ahmad al-Abdullah, Yasser Sobhi al-Abdillah, and Malek al-Saadoun were
