Provinces, SANA – Army units continued on Wednesday to target terrorists’ positions in\u00a0areas across the country, directly hitting their dens and gatherings, in addition to\u00a0foiling infiltration attempts.<\/p>\n
An army unit destroyed a den for terrorists affiliated to the so-called “Jund al-Aqsa” terrorist group in the surrounding of Saraqeb town in the countryside of the northern province of Idleb<\/span>.<\/p>\n An ammunition cache for terrorists was also destroyed in the area.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, another army unit repelled terrorists who tried to attack military posts in the surrounding of Jabal al-Arbaeen, leaving scores of them dead and others wounded.<\/p>\n Other army units destroyed terrorists\u2019 dens and vehicles in Khan Sheikhoun, Kansafra, Maar Hattat, Saraqeb and Hantourin in the countryside of Idleb. Many terrorist were killed and others were injured during the operations.<\/p>\n The Army also \u00a0eliminated many terrorists and injured others in the area surrounding Jidar Bakfaloun town in Idleb countryside, destroying their equipment.<\/p>\n Army units destroyed many dens of terrorists in Mourek, Latmin, al-Latamneh, Skik, al-Hwash and Kafar Zita in the countryside of the central province of Hama<\/span>, killing dozens of them.<\/p>\n In Aleppo<\/span>, army units targeted gatherings of terrorists to the east of Hreitan, Tal Mseibin, to the west of Handarat, Kuroum Aziza and Saif al-Dawla, hitting them directly and leaving many of the terrorists dead or injured.<\/p>\n Army units also destroyed a hideout in al-Aziza and many of the terrorists’ vehicles in Dawar al-Jandoul, Bustan al-Qasr, al-Sheikh Lutfi and near Handarat camp.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that the army units targeted a number of terrorists’ vehicles in Kwaires area in Aleppo countryside, killing all terrorists onboard.<\/p>\n An army unit destroyed a den for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists with all of those inside it in al-Waer al-Jadid neighborhood in the city of Homs<\/span>. Leader of the so-called ‘Buk’et al-Basatin’ terrorist group in al-Waer, who is known as Abu Baker al-Aseed, and leader of ‘Burj al-Arbaeen’ terrorist group, who is nicknamed Abu Bilal al-Hanish, were identified among the dead.<\/p>\n Gatherings of terrorists were targeted in al-Rastan, Jazal and Mas’ada in the countryside, with many of the terrorists killed.<\/p>\n The source pointed out that the army units killed and injured several terrorists in al-Rastan in Homs countryside, destroying their weapons and ammunition.<\/p>\n Army units thwarted terrorists’ attempts to infiltrate into al-Murouj area, on the road of the Scientific Research Center, Um Batina and Mas’hara, inflicting heavy losses upon them, in the countryside of the southern province of Quneitra<\/span>.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA reporter that the army\u00a0units destroyed a number of terrorists’ hideouts\u00a0in Kuroum Jibba hill and Mant al-Hosan, killing a Equipment of terrorists was destroyed after the\u00a0army targeted their gatherings in al-Hamidiyeh and\u00a0al-Samadaniyeh al-Gharbiyeh in the countryside.<\/p>\n In Daraa<\/span>, the source said the army units killed\u00a0many terrorists in the surrounding of Atman town,\u00a0on Atman-Tafas road, around Um al-Mayazen, Deir al-\u00a0Adas and Tal Arar in the countryside of the\u00a0southern province.
