Damascus, SANA-Endowments Minister Mohammad Abul-Sattar al-Sayyed affirmed that Syria supports the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Israeli occupation until liberating Jerusalem and returning it to their real owners.<\/p>\n
The Minister, meeting a delegation of the higher council of churches in Palestine, said that the attempts to displace Christians from Palestine is a conspiracy against the Arab nation, adding that targeting Syria was aimed to liquidate the Palestinian cause.<\/p>\n
Ramzi Khouri, head of the Palestinian delegation, said that the Israeli aggression targets the Islamic and Christian sanctities alike in the series of its failed attempts to Judaize Jerusalem.<\/p>\n
In a similar meeting with the visiting delegation, Syria’s grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun affirmed that the US-western- Zionist collusion to evacuate the region from Christians comes in the interest of the Zionist project.<\/p>\n
