Provinces, SANA \u2013 Units of the armed forces targeted more positions of members of the terrorist organizations in various areas in the course of their operations on Friday, leaving many terrorists dead or wounded.<\/p>\n
The army carried out a number of operations against armed terrorist groups in several areas in Damascus Countryside<\/span>, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their hideouts and concentrations.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that the army killed over 20 terrorists and destroyed their hideout and three of their vehicles in Mayda area in Eastern Ghouta. Most of the dead were of non-Syrian nationalities, including Fawzan al-Ojailan from Saudi Arabia and Abdullah al-Ojjailat from Jordan.<\/p>\n The source added that the army killed and injured a number of terrorists in Douma and Harasta. The terrorists’ hideouts and weaponry were also destroyed.<\/p>\n The army clashed with terrorists and destroyed their hideouts and gatherings in Jobar and Zamalka and killed a number of them. Among the dead were Saadoun al-Zwe’ie from Iraq, and Younes Bal’is al-Shitaiwi from Tunisia.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the army killed a number of terrorists who tried to infiltrate into Ras al-Maara, al-Mishirfe, al-Jarajeer, and Qara areas. The army also destroyed terrorists’ hideout in al-Sultanyeh neighborhood in al-Zabadani and killed a number of terrorists.<\/p>\n An army unit destroyed a tunnel used by terrorists affiliated to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the Old Airport neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor<\/span>.<\/p>\n A source in the northeastern province told SANA reporter that the tunnel, which had been dug by terrorists and used for movement, was 30 m long, stressing that all the terrorists who were inside the tunnel were killed.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, another army unit clashed with a number of ISIS terrorists in Hweijet Sakr and al-Sina’a neighborhood in the city, leaving them dead or wounded.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that the army units killed scores of\u00a0terrorists in the eastern side of Atman and Mseih\u00a0towns in the countryside of the southern province\u00a0of Daraa<\/span>.<\/p>\n In the same context, the army units eliminated score\u00a0of terrorists in Bustan al-Basha, B’eideen, Salah-Eddin and al-Jaberiyeh in the city of Aleppo<\/span>, in\u00a0addition to destroying a number of others’\u00a0vehicles in Hreitan and Khan al-Assal in the\u00a0countryside.<\/p>\n In Homs<\/span>, the army units killed\u00a0a number of terrorists and injured others who were\u00a0attempting to attack some military posts in the\u00a0area surrounding Mount al-Shaer in Palmyra\u00a0countryside.<\/p>\n The source added that other army units foiled\u00a0terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate the farms around\u00a0al-Waer neighborhood in the city of Homs, leaving\u00a0many of them dead or wounded.<\/p>\n Several dens and gatherings of terrorists were\u00a0targeted in Um al-Rish, al-Khreijeh, Mas’ada and\u00a0Um Sahrij areas in the eastern countryside of the central province.<\/p>\n In the same context, army units stormed dens of\u00a0terrorists in al-Za’faraneh in al-Rastan and Talaf\u00a0in al-Houleh in the countryside, inflicting heavy\u00a0losses upon them.<\/p>\n The\u00a0army also eliminated a number of terrorists in al-Rastan in Homs countryside.<\/p>\n The army clashed with terrorists who tried to attack military posts in Jisr al-Shoghour in Idleb<\/span> countryside.
