Most stalactites have pointed tips.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, a stalagmite is an upward-growing mound of mineral deposits that have precipitated from water dripping onto the floor of a cave. Most stalagmites have rounded or flattened tips.<\/p>\n<p>The cave was discovered by chance in the year 1914 by a shepherd and it was discovered scientifically by a team of scientists and explorers in 1956.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Al-Dawwayat&#8221;
