Idleb\/Homs, SANA- Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, the commander-in- Chief of the Army and armed forces, and on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Ali Abullah Ayoub on Sunday conducted a field visit to al-Habit town in Idleb southern countryside a few hours after being cleared from terrorism.<\/p>\n
During the visit, Ayoub met the soldiers who defeated the terrorists from al-Habit town after inflicting heavy losses on their ranks, congratulated the soldiers on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and the victories which are being achieved on the terrorist organizations and their supporters.<\/p>\n
Maj. Gen Ayoub was briefed by field commanders on the combat operations of the Army and Armed Forces in the area.<\/p>\n
He also met the field commanders, and hailed the exerted efforts by the army soldiers in pursuit of the terrorists.<\/p>\n
The commanders and the combatants affirmed their determination to restore security and stability to every inch of Syrian territory.<\/p>\n
Ayoub also visited the wounded soldiers in Abdul Qader Shaqfa Hospital in Homs , congratulated them on the occasion of Eid al-Adha , and listened to the conditions of their injuries, appreciating their high morals and their determination to return, as soon as possible, to their positions to continue their national duty.<\/p>\n
In the same context, commanders of the military regions
\nvisited martyrs\u2019 cemeteries , laid flowers on their graves and monuments dedicated to martyrs on behalf of President Bashar al-Assad\u00a0, and recited verses of Quran for the rest of their souls.<\/p>\n
