Paris, SANA- China has affirmed its rejection of the Turkish offensive on the Syrian territories, reiterating its stance which calls for finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria according to the International Security Council’s resolution no. 2254.<\/p>\n
Xinhua News Agency quoted Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in an interview with AFP published on Tuesday as saying ” We reject Turkey’s use of force in Syria, and we hope that it would adhere to the principle of the political solution to the crisis in Syria.”<\/p>\n
“Any measure taken by the Security Council should be based on an convergence in \u00a0the opinions and it shouldn’t reflect the opinion of a single side,” the Foreign Minister added.<\/p>\n
Yi asserted China’s frim stance towards the crisis in Syria, expressing at the same time his country’s readiness to cooperate with all countries in combating terrorism and confronting its dangers.<\/p>\n
He noted that China always rejects the use of force against any independent state.<\/p>\n
Recently, China through its Special Envoy for Syria Xie Xiaoyan has underlined the necessity of exerting more efforts to achieve a progress in the political process in order to solve the crisis in Syria in parallel with continuing the process of combating terrorism in the country.<\/p>\n
