on Friday visited the towns of Maaloula and Saidnaya in Damascus Countryside.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/German-delegation-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The delegation visited Mar Sarkis and Bacchus Monastery and Mar Takla Monastery, witnessing the damage done to these two monasteries by terrorists, in addition to visiting the Convent of Lady of Saidnaya.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement to SANA, Pasemann said that his party, Alternative for Germany (AfD), is against the German government\u2019s approach towards Syria, and that the delegation\u2019s visit seeks to relay the truth about what is happening in Syria to the German Bundestag, mass media, and public
