Idleb, SANA, Syrian Arab Army units on Sunday cleared the towns of Maar Shurin and al-Zaalana and the villages of al-Ghadfeh and al-Dana in Idleb countryside of terrorists, reaching the outskirts of the Aleppo-Hama highway north of Maarat al-Numan.<\/p>\n
SANA reporter said that in the past few hours, army units carried out concentrated operations against terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and groups affiliated to it in Idleb’s southern countryside, establishing control over the towns of Maar Shurin and al-Zaalana and the village of al-Ghadfeh in Idleb’s southern countryside after inflicting heavy losses upon terrorists.<\/p>\n
With this, army units are only a few hundred meters away from the Aleppo-Hama highway north of Maarat al-Numan.<\/p>\n
Later, SANA’s reporter said that the army established control over the village of al-Dana west of the highway between Maaret al-Numan and Saraqeb.<\/p>\n
Earlier in the day, army units engaged in fierce clashes with the terrorists in the vicinity of strategic Wadi Al-Deif, adjacent to Maar Shamsha village which had been liberated by the army units on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n
The reporter pointed out that army units also repelled an attack by terrorist groups on the direction of al-Samaka village, which was liberated by the army on Saturday, inflicting losses upon terrorists in personnel and equipment.<\/p>\n
Over the past two days the towns and villages of Maar Shamareen, Taqana, Talmans, Maar Shamsha, al-Samaka, al-Tah, and Deir al-Sharqi in the southern countryside of Idleb were cleared of terrorism.<\/p>\n
