Damascus, SANA- Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hammoudeh Sabbagh affirmed importance of bolstering parliamentary relations between Syria and Indonesia, hailing Indonesia\u2019s stances in support of Syria in its war against terrorism.<\/p>\n

Sabbagh’s remarks came during a meeting with Indonesian Ambassador in Damascus Wajid Fauzi on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Sabbagh Clarified the reality of terrorist, psychological, media and economic war which is being waged against Syria, noting that Indonesia has suffered terrorist explosions and attacks in the past.<\/p>\n

The MPs in both friendly countries should intensify meetings and mutual visits to expose the reality of terrorism and those who support it, Sabbagh said.<\/p>\n

For his part, Indonesian Ambassador underlined the necessity of strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, especially in the parliamentary domain.<\/p>\n

He voiced confidence that the Syrian people will overcome the crisis they are passing through and normal life will return to Syria.<\/p>\n
