Damascus, SANA-Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad affirmed Wednesday that Syria has always been the home for all Arabs and it has participated in celebrating the national occasions of the Arab counties.<\/p>\n

“I avail the opportunity to send Syria’s congratulations to the Omani leadership on Oman national day,” Mikdad said in a press statement following a reception held in Damascus to celebrate Oman’s 44th<\/sup> national Day.<\/p>\n

He added such celebration has great meanings which indicate right stances of the brothers in Oman towards the events in Syria and the whole region.<\/p>\n

The celebration, held by the Omani Embassy, was attended by Speaker of the People’s Assembly Mohammad Jihad al-Laham and a number of ministers and senior officials.<\/p>\n
