Provinces, SANA_ Various civil initiatives are launched daily to ensure the needs of citizens to encourage them to stay at home in light of the precautionary measures to address the emerging Coronavirus.<\/p>\n

In Aleppo, a civil society initiative was organized in Beit Il Church for Armenian Protestants to distribute disinfectants, masks, and bread to the people, to enable them to obtain their needs in an easy and organized manner, while remaining home throughout this period.<\/p>\n

Head of the Armenian Protestant Community in Syria Pastor Harutyun Selimian stated that the initiative comes within the procedures followed to face the Coronavirus and called for adherence to health guidelines and necessary measures to maintain public safety.<\/p>\n

In Aleppo also and as part of the \u201cStay Home Campaign\u201d, the Syrian Society for the Cancer Children launched the \u201cFood Hamper to Your Home\u201d initiative to support the cancer children and their families.<\/p>\n

The Society\u2019s Chief Muzna Olabi stated that the initiative aims at distributing about 100 food hampers to the families of children with cancer to reduce their burdens in light of the precautionary measures taken to face the Coronavirus.<\/p>\n

In the city of Masyaf, in the western countryside of Hama, the volunteers of a team called \u201cThe Continues Team\u201d launched a campaign \u201cStay Home\u201d targeting the neediest families.<\/p>\n

Ingrid Watfa, the Team\u2019s Official, explained that the campaign aims to meet the needs of the city\u2019s residents and so a group of volunteers has been distributing food and bread freely.<\/p>\n

In Tartous, the \u201cWasel Soutak\u201d (Let your Voice Be Heard) volunteer group participated in the campaign of distributing food and humanitarian aid targeting 170 families of the martyrs, the wounded and the missing, and the families whose activities were suspended as a result of precautionary measures due to the Coronavirus.<\/p>\n
