Damascus, SANA- A medical aid package provided by China to Syria for detecting coronavirus infection arrived in Damascus International Airport.<\/p>\n

In a statement to journalists on Wednesday, Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad expressed Syria\u2019s appreciation over China\u2019s stand by Syria and the medical aid provided to the Syrian people as it reflects China\u2019s care for extending aid to Syria and all the countries of the world to fight coronavirus.<\/p>\n

For his part, China\u2019s Ambassador in Damascus\u00a0Feng Biao pointed out that this is the first batch of assistance and another batches will be sent soon.<\/p>\n

Assistant Health Minister Ahmad Khlaifawi pointed out that the Chinese medical assistance will contribute in supporting the health system in Syria which was affected by the terrorist acts and the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people.<\/p>\n
