Damascus, SANA \u2013 A Syrian Airlines plane with 250 Syrians who had been stranded abroad arrived at Damascus International Airport on Saturday evening, coming from Khartoum Airport in Sudan.<\/p>\n

Later in the evening, another Syrian Airlines plane arrived at the airport, coming from Muscat Airport in Oman with 143 Syrians on bord.<\/p>\n

Director of Damascus Health Directorate Dr. Hazar Raef told journalists that the passengers were transported via buses to quarantine centers, where they will stay for 14 days to make sure that they are not infected with the Coronavirus (COVID-19).<\/p>\n

Raef said that as soon as the planes landed, a medical team measured the passengers\u2019 temperatures and registered their data, and then they were transported immediately to the quarantine centers that are nearest to their homes.<\/p>\n

She added that the centers are fully equipped with all the necessary services in addition to a medical team that will take swabs from the passengers to test for the Coronavirus.<\/p>\n
