Damascus, SANA \u2013 President Bashar al-Assad on Saturday received a number of congratulatory cables on occasion of Eid al-Fitr holiday.<\/p>\n
President al-Assad received congratulatory a cable from First Sharia Judge of Damascus Mahmoud al-Maarawi, who offered his best wishes to President al-Assad, his family, and the people of Syria on this occasion.<\/p>\n
In the cable he sent, Minister of Religious Endowments (Awqaf) Mohammad Abdulsattar al-Sayyed expressed his best wishes and prayed to God to protect Syria and deliver it from the hardships caused by the Coronavirus.<\/p>\n
For his part, Justice Minister Hesham al-Shaar offered congratulations on behalf of himself and all the judges and attorneys and workers at the Ministry.<\/p>\n
In a similar cable, Grand Mufti of the Republic Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun offered congratulations to President al-Assad and his family, hoping that this holiday will herald the coming of peace and the end of suffering.<\/p>\n
