{"id":193566,"date":"2020-06-08T08:37:40","date_gmt":"2020-06-08T05:37:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=193566"},"modified":"2020-06-08T09:27:43","modified_gmt":"2020-06-08T06:27:43","slug":"16-coronavirus-cases-registered-lockdown-imposed-on-ras-al-maara-town-damascus-countryside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=193566","title":{"rendered":"16 coronavirus cases registered, lockdown imposed on Ras al-Ma\u2019ara town, Damascus Countryside \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced that 16 new coronavirus cases were registered in Ras al-Ma\u2019ara town in Damascus Countryside raising the total of the registered cases to 141.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a statement on Sunday evening, the Ministry indicated that the infected people were in close contact with the infected truck driver who works on the Syrian-Jordanian route.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Ministry added that a lockdown was imposed on Ras al-Ma\u2019ara town to prevent the outbreak of the virus and to maintain the public health the safety of citizens.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On June 4<sup>th<\/sup>, Health Ministry announced that a coronavirus case was registered in Damascus Countryside as the infected person was a truck driver on the Syrian-Jordanian route.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the statistics of the Health Ministry the number of the registered infections in Syria till now have reached 141 cases, of which 58 have recovered and 6 have passed away.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first coronavirus case was registered in Syria on March 22<sup>nd<\/sup> in a person who came from abroad while the first death was registered on March 29<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ruaa al-Jazaeri<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced that 16 new coronavirus cases were registered in Ras al-Ma\u2019ara town in Damascus Countryside raising the total of the registered cases to 141.
