Beirut, SANA- Russia’s Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Zasypkin has affirmed his country\u2019s standing by Syria in the face of the US unilateral coercive measures particularly the so-called \u201cCaesar Act\u201d, indicating that these measures are considered a violation of the international law.<\/p>\n
In an interview published on Thursday, Zasypkin asserted that the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people are doomed to failure, saying \u201cthe Syrian people who triumphed over terrorism after a long battle will overcome all the current attempts to starve them.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cCaesar Act is an episode of the series of American coercive measures, and we stand by Syria in this economic battle,” Zasypkin said, noting that Syria is able to overcome these measures through its people who are rich in qualified cadres.<\/p>\n
Regarding Lebanon, Zasypkin said \u201cThe Americans are preparing for sowing chaos in Lebanon,\u201d affirming that this issue doesn\u2019t need a lot of analysis.<\/p>\n
