{"id":20828,"date":"2014-12-07T17:06:52","date_gmt":"2014-12-07T15:06:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=20828"},"modified":"2014-12-07T17:06:52","modified_gmt":"2014-12-07T15:06:52","slug":"finance-minister-and-mps-discuss-granting-loans-and-health-insurance-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=20828","title":{"rendered":"Finance Minister and MPs discuss granting loans\u00a0and health insurance program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Damascus, SANA &#8211; The People&#8217;s Assembly listened in\u00a0a session on Sunday to the answers of Finance Minister Ismael Ismael on a\u00a0number of issues related to the Ministry&#8217;s work, particularly with regard to\u00a0granting loans and the public banks&#8217; work.<\/p>\n<p>Chief among issues raised by the PMs&#8217; were the\u00a0possibility of meeting the citizens&#8217; need for loans, given the repercussions\u00a0of the current crisis in the country and the economic sanctions imposed on it,\u00a0and reconsidering the current national health insurance project after services\u00a0have been met with many obstructions.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20830 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/27.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"151\" height=\"203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/27.jpg 151w, https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/27-111x150.jpg 111w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 151px) 100vw, 151px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In his response to the questions raised, Minister\u00a0Ismael noted that granting of loans is currently suspended by all public banks\u00a0due to the drop in the liquidity rate set by the Central Bank of Syria\u00a0(CBS), affirming that banks shall resume granting loans once liquidity rate\u00a0rises.<\/p>\n<p>As for the health insurance program, the Minister\u00a0said it was hindered due to the current crisis which has taken a toll on all\u00a0sectors, noting that the Ministry is working with the other parties\u00a0concerned to have all the hindering administrative and logistic problems solved.<\/p>\n<p>Bashar Mousa\/Haifa Said<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Damascus, SANA &#8211; The People&#8217;s Assembly listened in\u00a0a session on Sunday to the answers of Finance Minister Ismael Ismael on a\u00a0number of issues related to the Ministry&#8217;s work, particularly with regard to\u00a0granting loans and the public banks&#8217; work.
